The weather was kind to staff and students who took part in Brookfield's first Sponsored Charity Walk to raise money for an amazing local charity, Ashgate Hospice that supports patients and their families living with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. 

The 10k walk took in the beautiful countryside around Brookfield Community School as they headed towards Linacre Reservior through fields and woodland. A great event that saw students talking and singing as they walked with their friends, stopping to refuel and have a little rest when needed, and with the average time being about 2.5 hours, everyone did fantastic. 

Well done to all the staff and students who took part in our Sponsored Charity Walk to raise money for Ashgate Hospice, and to all our wonderful Supporters who donated and left lovely comments on our Just Giving page. We really do appreciate all of your support.

There's always lots of work that goes on behind the scenes organising events like this, and today has been an excellent team effort from everyone involved in making it happen. 

It has been a huge success as we raised a staggering £15,824 to support Ashgate Hospice!

A BIG THANK YOU to you everyone who helped us raise this incredible amount of money, and to Ashgate Hospice for their support for our students with their fabulous banner and feedback...
