Moving up to Brookfield

We aim to make the transfer to Brookfield Community School a smooth, positive and exciting experience for children and parents. It is crucial to the start of each child’s secondary education. The aim of our transition process is for every pupil to move up to Brookfield feeling excited, confident and informed.

We work closely with our partner primary schools to ensure that we are fully briefed on all children to ensure that learning is optimised from the moment they join us in September. Our staff will visit primary schools to begin to build relationships and answer questions during Year 6. We also aim to meet with parents in person at our primary transition evening where we introduce our Heads of Houses and other key staff.
